TORQUE PHARMACEUTICALS PVT. LTD. is having its own premises and the company is engaged in manufacturing finished pharmaceutical formulations. The company has its registered office at 693, Industrial Area-2, Chandigarh and state of the art Corporate office at Sector 34, Chandigarh and the factories are located at Derabassi,Punjab and Baddi, Himachal Pradesh. The company was incorporated in August, 1985 under the name of TORQUE PHARMACEUTICALS and shifted its operations to the present premises in March, 1992 and started running its business under the name and style of TORQUE PHARMACEUTICALS PVT. LTD. The company is a member of Basic Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals & Cosmetics Export Promotion Council & Delhi Chamber of Commerce & Pharmexil. Torque is the first pharma company in Punjab (India) to be sanctioned WHO-GMP Certification (World Health Organization - Goods Manufacturing Practices Certification)
Apart from possessing cGMP and WHO GMP certificates the company also confirms to NDA(Uganda) certification, Pharmacy & Poisons Board (Kenya), ISO 9001-2008, and the process for acquiring FDA certification is also in the pipeline.
The company also has independent Quality Control and Quality Assurance Departments. It also has Product Development Division. All work is carried by cGMP trained staff in consonance with STANDARD OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES.
