DESCRIPTION: Multi Power syrup is a multivitamin complex supplement to enhance body’s general health,
metabolism & resistance.

Each 5ml contains:
Vitamin A (as Palmitate) BP 1600 IU
Vitamin D3 BP 200 IU
Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B-1) BP 1.5 mg
Riboflavine (Vitamin B-2) BP 1 mg
Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B-6) BP 1 mg
Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B-12) BP 10 mcg
Nicotinamide BP 10 mg
D-Panthenol BP 2.5 mg
Ferrous Gluconate BP 26 mg 
(equivalent to elemental Iron 3 mg)
Zinc Sulphate BP 44 mg 
(equivalent to elemental Zinc 10 mg)
Flavoured syrup base q.s.

PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTIONS: Vitamins are organic compounds categorized as essential nutrients. They are required by the body in very small quantities. Due to inability of the body to synthesize these essential nutrients in sufficient amounts, they must be provided in the food. The functions are: Energy Production, Cofactor for Homocysteine Metabolism, Glutathione Recycling, Maintaining Supplies of Essential vitamins & minerals.

PHARMACOKINETICS: Absorption occurs from G.I.T. by carrier-mediated active transport.

INDICATIONS: Multi power syrup is used for the nutritional supplementation in the conditions in which B Complex vitamins & vitamins A & D are required prophylactically. Vitamin deficiencies may be due to various reasons such as improper food intake, malabsorption & trauma. In the treatment of nutritional deficiencies it may be necessary to administer parenteral vitamins. It has been found that patients who receive total parenteral nutrition, particularly to prevent lactic acidosis due to thiamine deficiency. It may reduce homocysteine and may help prevent atherosclerosis.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: As directed by the Physician.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Chronic use of loop diuretics may result in thiamine deficiency.

SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause itching, sweating, feeling of warmth, nausea, weakness,
or restlessness of the throat.

PRECAUTIONS: Except in doses greater than recommended, thiamine is considered safe for use during pregnancy and while breast-feeding.
