Alox Antacid Suspension
Alox Antacid Suspension combines Magnesium Hydroxide, Aluminium Hydroxide Gel, and Activated Dimethicone to treat acidity, heartburn, indigestion, gastritis, and stomach upset. Available in flavour variants of cardamom, saunf, and orange.

Each 5 ml contains:
- Magnesium Hydroxide I.P. 200 mg
- Dried Aluminium Hydroxide Gel I.P. 200 mg
- Activated Dimethicone I.P. 25 mg
Indications
Used in gastrointestinal disorders manifested with hyperacidity (heartburn, epigastric discomfort) often associated with dyspepsia, peptic ulcer, gastritis, peptic esophagitis, hiatus hernia, and increased gas production.
Storage
Store in a cool, dark place. Protect from light.
Precautions
Use with caution in patients with renal impairment. Extensive use of aluminium-containing antacids may cause hypophosphatemia, which in severe cases may lead to muscle weakness, anorexia, and osteomalacia. Shake well before use.
