The mycomin-Plus capsule is a dietary supplement containing a combination of vitamins and Folic Acid to meet nutritional requirements for certain patients with high blood levels of homocysteine or patients on dialysis, or for those who do not receive the proper amount of vitamins from their diet. Mecobalamin is the active form of vitamin B12 that normally act as a co-enzyme in several metabolic pathways. The deficiency of vitamin B12 interferes with haemopoiesis. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a cofactor in vital energy-producing reactions in the body. Folic Acid is reduced in the body to tetrahydrofolate which is a coenzyme for various metabolic processes. Pyridoxine Hydrochloride is one of the eight water-soluble B vitamins. The B vitamins help the body to convert carbohydrates into glucose to provide energy. Biotin (Vitamin B8), A member of the B-complex group is essential for the normal metabolism of fat and protein.
