Levocetirizine is a third-generation non-sedative antihistamine, developed from the second-generation antihistamine cetirizine. Chemically, Levocetirizine is the active enantiomer of Cetirizine, being the R-enantiomer of the cetirizine racemate.

Each 5 ml contains:

Levocetirizine Hydrochloride I.P. 2.5 mg

Indications

Seasonal allergic rhinitis, chronic urticaria, allergic conjunctivitis, atopic dermatitis, pruritus, and as an adjunct in asthma management.

Storage

Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from light.

Precautions

Use with caution in patients with renal impairment. May cause drowsiness; avoid activities requiring mental alertness if affected.
