Neurogesic Tablets

Neurogesic is a globally accepted combination of potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory agents. Diclofenac is a benzene-acetic acid derivative non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and controls inflammation. Paracetamol is a para-aminophenol derivative, that produces antipyresis by acting on the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre and analgesia by elevating the pain threshold.

Composition

Each uncoated tablet contains:

Diclofenac Sodium I.P. 50 mg
Paracetamol I.P. 325 mg

Indications

Effective in the treatment of painful skeletal muscle spasms, fibrositis, trauma involving muscle ligaments and tendons.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry and dark place.

Precautions

Use with caution in patients with a history of asthma, urticaria, or acute rhinitis, as NSAIDs can precipitate attacks. Overdosage of paracetamol can cause kidney or liver damage. Use with caution in patients with cardiovascular, renal, or hepatic impairment. Avoid prolonged use without medical supervision.
