Omeprazole (As enteric coated pellets) I.P. 20mg

Mechanism of Action: Omeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor, works by inhibiting the proton pump in the stomach lining, specifically the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme. This enzyme is responsible for the final step in the production of stomach acid. By blocking the activity of this enzyme, omeprazole reduces the secretion of gastric acid into the stomach. This decrease in stomach acid helps alleviate symptoms of conditions like acid reflux, GERD, and stomach ulcers, promoting the healing of the esophagus and stomach lining.
Indications: Omimac-20 capsule is used to manage and treat several conditions, including uncomplicated heartburn, peptic ulcer disease, gastrointestinal reflux disease, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, erosive esophagitis, gastric ulcers, and helicobacter pylori infection.
Dosage: As prescribed by the physician.
