Paracin Tablets (Round)

Paracetamol also known as Acetaminophen, chemically named N-Acetyl-p-Aminophenol, is a widely used over-the-counter analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). Paracetamol is equal to aspirin in analgesic and antipyretic effectiveness, and it is unlikely to produce many of the side effects associated with Aspirin and Aspirin containing products.

Each uncoated tablet contains:

Paracetamol IP 500 mg

Indications

Indicated for the relief of mild to moderate pain and fever.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct heat and light.

Precautions

Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney disorders and those with a history of alcohol dependence. Overdosage of paracetamol may cause severe liver or kidney damage. Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to paracetamol.
