Tazotorque-P 4.5 combines Piperacillin Sodium and Tazobactam Sodium to treat severe pneumonia, urinary tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, and skin infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Composition
Each vial contains:
- Piperacillin Sodium (Sterile) eq. to Piperacillin 4000 mg
- Tazobactam Sodium (Sterile) eq. to Tazobactam 500 mg
Indications
Used to treat severe pneumonia including hospital-acquired and ventilator-associated pneumonia, urinary tract infection, intra-abdominal infection, skin and skin tissue infection, and management of neutropenic patients with fever suspected to be due to a bacterial infection.
Storage
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Protect from sunlight, heat and moisture.
Precautions
Use as directed by the physician. Contraindicated in patients with known or suspected hypersensitivity to the drug or any of the excipients, during pregnancy and lactation, and in patients with severe hepatic failure or renal impairment. Can cause drug interactions with aminoglycosides, probenecid, vancomycin, heparin, oral anticoagulants, vecuronium, and methotrexate.
