Composition: Each hard gelatin capsule contains:
Cephalexin Eq. to Anhydrous Cephalexin I.P. 250mg
Mechanism of Action: Cephalexin works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls through binding to penicillin-binding proteins, leading to cell wall disruption, cell lysis, and bacterial death.
Indications: Ticeph-250 Capsule is primarily used for the treatment of respiratory, skin tissue infection, ear infections and genitourinary infections.
Dosage: As prescribed by the physician.
Side effects: Nausea, Diarrhea, Abdominal Pain and Indigestion.
Contraindications: Ticeph-250 Capsule is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to cephalosporin or cephalexin, or any other kidney or hepatic disease.
Drug Interactions: Ticeph-250 Capsule should not be taken with the following medicines due to severe side effects – Diuretics, Oral Contraceptives etc.
