Torgyl Suspension

Torgyl Suspension is a combination medicine containing norfloxacin and metronidazole as its active ingredients. It is used for the treatment of loose motions caused due to mixed bacterial infection.

Composition

Each 5 ml contains:

Metronidazole Benzoate I.P. equivalent to Metronidazole 120 mg
Norfloxacin I.P. 100 mg
Flavoured Syrupy Base q.s.
Colour: Sunset Yellow FCF

Indications

Used for the treatment of diarrhea or dysentery due to bacterial, protozoal, or mixed-origin infections, including infections associated with pelvic inflammatory diseases.

Storage

Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from light.

Precautions

Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any ingredient of the product.
Unnecessary use of metronidazole should be avoided.
Use as directed by the physician.
Shake well before use.
