Composition: Each Sachet 21.8 g contains:

Sodium Chloride           IP                     2.60 g

Potassium Chloride       IP                     1.50 g

Sodium Citrate              IP                     2.90 g

Dextrose (Anhydrous)   IP                     13.50 g

Excipients                                             q.s.

Flavor: Orange

Mechanism of Action: Torlyte Oral rehydration solution (ORS) is an oral powder–containing mixture of glucose sodium chloride, potassium chloride, and sodium citrate. After being dissolved in the requisite volume of water they are intended for the prevention and treatment of dehydration due to diarrhea, including maintenance therapy.

Indications: Torlyte ORS powder helps restore body fluids and electrolytes which get lost due to dehydration caused by diarrhea, vomiting, muscle cramping, and heat during exercising or hot weather.

Dosage: Depending upon age and Severity of Dehydration or as directed by the physician.

Infants & Children: 1-2 Liters (5-10 glasses) over a period of 24 hrs.

Adults: 2-4 Liters (10-20 glasses) over a period of 24 hrs.

Storage: Store protected from moisture.
