TORQUE'S PANTOTOR-LS CAPSULES

DESCRIPTION: Pantotor-LS contains Pantoprazole which is a substituted benzimidazole proton pump inhibitor and Levosulpiride is a substituted benzamide antipsychotic.

COMPOSITION: Each hard gelatin capsule contains:

MECHANISM OF ACTION: Pantoprazole inhibits the H+/K+ ATPase enzyme, which is responsible for gastric acid secretion in the parietal cells of the stomach and irreversibly blocks the final step of acid secretion. It increases the motility of the GI tract by inhibiting the action of dopamine and fastens gastric emptying. Levosulpiride is the levorotatory enantiomer of sulpiride, a benzamide derivative selectively inhibiting dopaminergic D 2 receptors both in the trigger zone in the central nervous system and in the gastrointestinal tract.

INDICATIONS: Dyspepsia and Gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD).

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Pantoprazole is contraindicated in hepatic impairment; hypersensitivity. Levosulpiride is contraindicated in Children less than 14 years of age with, History of epilepsy. The drug is known to be secreted in breast milk, so, its use should be restricted in breastfeeding women.

SIDE EFFECTS: Headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, rash, swelling.

ADR:  Proton pump inhibitors can cause acute Kidney injury as an adverse drug reactions.

DOSAGE: As directed by the physician.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Do not chew, crush or Open. It should be swallowed as a whole. If you take more PANTOTOR-LS Contact your Physician or go to the nearest hospital immediately If you forget to take PANTOTOR-LS If you have forgotten to take a dose, take it immediately when you remember and continue the treatment as usual If it is almost time to take the next dose, you should not take the forgotten dose. If you stop taking PANTOTOR-LS Do not stop taking it unless told by your doctor.

STORAGE: Store protected from moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
