Torvit Zinc Syrup
A balanced combination of well-known ingredients, i.e., Ferric ammonium citrate, which is a complex salt of iron, ammonia, and citric acid and is one of the best-tolerated iron supplements; Vitamin B12, which has an essential role in the production of RBCs; and the important hematinic factors Folic acid and Zinc that are vital for DNA synthesis.

Each 15 ml contains:
- Ferric Ammonium Citrate I.P. 160 mg
- Vitamin B12 I.P. 7.5 mcg
- Folic Acid I.P. 1 mg
- Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate eq. to Elemental Zinc I.P. 16 mg
- Flavoured Syrup Base q.s.
Indications
TORVIT Zinc Syrup is indicated for supportive nutritional supplementation when iron and vitamins are required therapeutically, during dietary insufficiency, periods of rapid growth, and convalescence.
Storage
Store in a cool & dry place. Protect from light.
Precautions
Oral iron may aggravate peptic ulcers, regional enteritis, and ulcerative colitis. Iron compounds can reduce the absorption of tetracycline antibiotics, while antacids may decrease iron absorption. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Shake well before use.
