Trixone Plus Injection is a combination of a beta-lactam antibiotic- Ceftriaxone with an inhibitor of beta lactamase-Sulbactam sodium, giving a highly powerful antibacterial formulation. ?Ceftriaxone is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, Sulbactam sodium is a derivative of the basic penicillin nucleus.

Composition
Each vial contains:
- Ceftriaxone Sodium Sterile U.S.P. 1 g
- equivalent to Ceftriaxone
- Salbactum Sodium U.S.P. 500 mg
- equivalent to Salbactum
Part II:
- Water for Injection B.P. 10 ml
Indications
Renal and urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and infections in a dialysis unit.
Storage
Store below 25°C. Protect from light and moisture.
Precautions
Contraindicated in patients with known allergy to cephalosporin antibiotics. Hypersensitivity to penicillin may predispose the patient to allergic cross-reactions.
