Description: Winlin Dec-50 is an androgen and anabolic steroid medication which is used primarily in the treatment of anaemias and wasting syndromes, as well as osteoporosis in menopausal women.

Nandrolone Decanoate I.P. 50mg

Mechanism of Action: Nandrolone decanoate is hydrolyzed to nandrolone, possibly by PDE7B. Nandrolone is brought into cells by receptor mediated endocytosis, where it interacts with the androgen receptor. After binding to the androgen receptor, a conformational change occurs, the androgen receptor enters the nucleus, dimerizes, and can then bind to segments of DNA to regulate transcription. Androgens can also regulate transcription through activation of ERK, Akt, and MAPK, or by binding to and competitively inhibiting transcription factors.
Indications: Winlin Dec-50 injection is used in the treatment of osteoporosis in post-menopausal women. It helps strengthen the bones which become thin and brittle due to osteoporosis. It is also used for the management of the anemia of renal insufficiency. Additionally, it may be prescribed for patients experiencing muscle-wasting diseases or undergoing surgeries or treatments that lead to muscle loss. Winlin Dec-50 injection can help manage certain conditions like promotes red blood cell production, promotes muscle endurance & healing, builds lean muscle mass and increases bone density.
Dosage: As advised by the physician.
Side effects: Nausea & vomiting, Headache, Diarrhoea. Edema, Insomnia, Breast enlargement and Acne.
Contraindications: Winlin Dec-50 injection is contraindicated in pregnancy, breastfeeding, prostate cancer, male breast cancer, breast cancer in women with hypercalcemia, and hypersensitivity to nandrolone decanoate.
Drug Interactions: Winlin Dec-50 injection should not be taken with the following medicines – Nandrolone decanoate may increase the hypoglycemic activities of Acarbose, Nandrolone decanoate may increase the anticoagulant activities of Acenocoumarol, Nandrolone decanoate may increase the hypoglycemic activities of Acetohexamide, Nandrolone decanoate may increase the hypoglycemic activities of Albiglutide, The risk or severity of edema formation can be increased when Nandrolone decanoate is combined with Betamethasone phosphate, Nandrolone decanoate may increase the hypoglycemic activities of Alogliptin, The metabolism of Almotriptan can be decreased when combined with Nandrolone decanoate, The risk or severity of edema formation can be increased when Nandrolone decanoate is combined with Beclomethasone dipropionate, The therapeutic efficacy of Allantoin can be increased when used in combination with Nandrolone decanoate.
