Omnimac Gel contains Diclofenac diethylamine which is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with analgesic and antipyretic properties. Linseed oil is rich in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA). ALA belongs to a group of a substance called omega-3 fatty acid which helps to reduce inflammation. Methyl Salicylate acts as a counter rubefacient by stimulating the superficial afferent nerves from the same spinal segments that supply the painful muscles. Menthol has some local anaesthetic and counterirritant qualities and also acts as a weak kappa opioid receptor agonist making it an analgesic as well.
