DESCRIPTION:
Dill oil is extracted by steam distillation, mainly from the seeds, or the whole herb, fresh or partly dried. The main chemical components of dill oil are D-Carvone, Dillapiol, DHC, Eugenol, Limonene, Terpinene and Myristicin. The therapeutic properties of dill oil are antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, disinfectant, galactagogue, sedative, stomachic and sudorific.
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Dill seed oil can reduce and break up flatulence, or gas, and may have a calming, carminative effect on babies who are “windy,” or gassy. Sodium hydrogen carbonate has antacid properties that might relieve minor stomach upsets in babies and children.
INDICATIONS:
It cures disorders of teething and the following diseases of children:
Constipation, indigestion and flatulence, vomiting, diarrhoea, cold, liver and spleen troubles, restless sleep, excessive salivation and thirst.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Should not be used where impaired kidney function or hypersensitivity to hydroxybenzoate exists. Not to give to a baby below one month old.
PRECAUTIONS:
Check with a doctor before giving this medicine if your baby has some inherited intolerance to some sugars.
DOSAGE:
As directed by the physician.
STORAGE:
Do not store above 25℃.
