Nimumac Plus is a combination of Nimesulide and Paracetamol and is an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic.
24x20x30, 60x20x10, 54x10x10 tablets
MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Nimesulide is an inhibitor of cyclooxygenase so it inhibits the synthesis of destructive prostaglandins and spares cytoprotective prostaglandins. Nimesulide appears to exert its effects also through a variety of other mechanisms and involves interference with the production action of mediators other than prostaglandins such as enzymes, toxic oxygen derivatives, cytokines, platelet-activating factors and histamine. Paracetamol is a valuable central analgesic but a weak peripheral anti-inflammatory agent and exhibits antipyretic action.
