DESCRIPTION:
Clindamycin is a topical antibiotic for the treatment of acne vulgaris. This drug belongs to the class of antibiotics known as lincosamides. The term Acne vulgaris refers to the more common form of acne, consisting of non-inflammatory and mild inflammatory lesions. The more severe form of acne is characterized by the presence of nodules. Nicotinamide is a form of vitamin B3.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Clindamycin Phosphate inhibits bacterial protein synthesis at the ribosomal level by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit and affecting the process of peptide chain initiation. Nicotinamide is acting as an anti-inflammatory agent and works by reducing the swelling and redness associated with acne. It also regulates the amount of acne-causing oil being produced by the oil glands in your skin and helps in lightening the marks due to pimples, acne and other skin problems.
INDICATIONS:
It is used in the treatment of acne, reduces swelling, redness and tenderness associated with acne.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
As directed by the physician.
STORAGE:
Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 300 C. Protect from light. Do not freeze.
