Torcof-DX cough syrup features a chlorpheniramine and dextromethorphan combination, providing targeted relief for dry cough symptoms. It is also used to treat sneezing, runny nose, and cough caused by the common cold.

MECHANISM OF ACTION:
Dextromethorphan is a non-opioid antitussive drug. It exerts its antitussive activity by acting on the cough center in the medulla oblongata, raising the threshold for the cough reflex. Chlorpheniramine competitively antagonizes histamine at H1 receptor sites.
INDICATIONS:
Coughs and upper respiratory tract symptoms, including nasal congestion, are associated with allergy or the common cold.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to any product ingredients; severe hypertension; ventricular tachycardia; severe coronary artery disease; chronic bronchitis; as a treatment for lower respiratory tract conditions including asthma; during an asthma attack; newborns or premature infants; breast-feeding women.
WARNING:
Do not exceed recommended dosage.

As directed by the physician.
